The Helmsley is symbolic of the Watkinsons boot logo. This boot is stylish, sophisticated and a great look for both winter and summer. Inspired by the quaint town of Harrogate, the brogue detailing, stunning leather and lace up style of the boot is guaranteed to turn heads.
We offer free delivery on all UK orders over £100.00 (some exclusions may apply). We are now using DPD as our standard courier. You will be provided with an email directly from DPD when your order has been picked up and is en route for delivery. All orders are made via an Express Service. The delivery price on all orders under £100 is £5.00.
Our shipment days will be Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday via DPD and this is run by a next day delivery service. This is free of charge for all items over £100.00
We will inform you if the product has run out of stock. Our stocking systems are manual and we aim to update every day. On occasions our stocks are not correct and we will inform you as soon as we know if the product is out of stock. If we do not have the shoe in store we will aim to have this ordered for you from the manufacturer as soon as we can.
For first class services we will still use Royal Mail on occasions. Please note that there has been disruptions to Royal Mail service due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will take no responsibility for the impact of COVID-19 on delivery. If a parcel is lost or delayed, we take no responsibility and this will be between the customer and Royal Mail. We provide the product reference number with every purchase. It is the customers responsibility to follow this up with Royal Mail. If you are not in and DPD attempt to delivery your item and cannot they will leave a calling card, we cannot redirect the item once it has gone to the pick up area if you are not in with the first attempt of delivery.
We are also offering a next day delivery service which is used via First Class Royal Mail Signed for. We cannot guarantee that the goods will be with you by a certain time or day on the official Royal Mail website it claims that Royal Mail first class goods should be there within one working day. We (A Watkinson LTD) take no responsibility for any goods that are delivered later than one working day.
For the Next Day Delivery service - If the order is placed after 11AM, we cannot guarantee that the goods will be dispatched on the same day.
If the order is placed after 10AM on a Saturday, the goods will be sent out for next day delivery the following Monday.
All orders placed on the Watkinsons website are distributed from our HQ in the UK. We are working closely with our delivery partners to ensure as smoother a transition period as possible during the early stages of the UK's exit from Europe. Inevitably, there will be some delays to our European deliveries as we all adjust to the new customs paperwork. We utilise a 2nd class signed for Royal Mail service, if we see that your parcel has been signed for and delivered but you claim not to have received the parcel we are not liable for this. This is to be sorted through Royal Mail and the customer.
If a parcel is lost or delayed, we take no responsibility and this will be between the customer and DPD or Royal Mail. If DPD or Royal Mail leaves your parcel is a non-safe place this is between the customer and DPD or Royal Mail and Watkinsons is not liable to any complaints of such type.
Our returns policy is to return the item within 28 days of purchase for a full refund, sale items are included within this. If you are not completely satisfied with your product(s) we are happy to provide you with a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase on all full priced items. If you return your item unworn with original packaging, box and tags after 28 days but within 365 days of purchase, you are entitled to exchange or a credit note. Please note that you can also exchange the shoes and return the shoes in store. You are entitled to return your order to our store at 53 Goodramgate or send to Watkinsons Shoes, 53 Goodramgate, York via postal services. Please ensure that your product(s) are unworn and in the original boxing, if they are not we will not be able to provide you with a refund.
Any goods purchased in the sale cannot be returned if faulty after 2 weeks (14 days).
We offer online refunds on sale goods as long as within the 28 day period.
We offer free of charge outgoing postage for all UK orders over £100.00 however we do not cover the cost of returning items. Please send an email to email@example.com if you wish to return an item so that we can get your refund sorted immediately.
We cannot take responsibility for something improperly packaged or that gets lost or damaged in transit to or from us, so please take care when choosing how to send an item back to us.
If you are not satisfied with your product and believe that this is faulty please send us photographs of the product and we will get back to you as soon as we can! Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on this. Even if there is a fault with the boot we will require the original boxing to refund you.
In store our returns policy is within 14 days and we do not offer in store returns on sale items.
We accept online payments in a secure setting via Worldpay and Paypal. Our payment methods include debit card, credit cards and Paypal. We do not accept American Express card payments.
All card details are encrypted to safeguard your details and we do not store or save any details on our website. Payment is processed immediately via Paypal or Worldpay as soon as the order is placed.
Our prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling and we no not yet have an option to pay in Euros, US Dollars of any other currency. Our prices include VAT at the current rate required. The price shown is subject to change if taxes change in the EU/ UK. The price paid will always be in £GBP pounds sterling with the rate paid on the site when selecting to be determined by the payment provider at their current exchange rate.
A Watkinson LTD trading as Watkinsons Shoes will and cannot accept any responsibility for any additional charges, resulting from exchange rate conversions, or the exchange rate offered by the payment provider.
